Has anyone on here smoothed the ridge out of the rear bumper?

If so can you please put up a pic or a link to it cheers!

Just had it done to my front and want to do something with the rear but can't decide what



trying to keep the car smooth and subtle

i have a rear bumper that i am smoothing out and putting a number plate recess in, should be ready next couple of weeks u2u me if ur interested

how r u doin this? is it just fibreglassed over? i could do that easily, i just no that fibreglass and plastic dont like to stick to each other

it should stick fine... just make sure you key & degrease the plastic well and it'll stick like shit 2 a blanket

not fiberglass, is bumperfill, far more flexibile than fiberglass have used it before and was impressed is good stuff

I'm planning on doing this to my front bumper exact same thing dan. I like it

Looks dull there but its a uch closer match when i've cleaned and polished the car

This is my back bumper:





My front was damaged so i had it repaired smoothed and sprayed for £70 which i thought was a pretty good price!

Use fibreglass to fill the ridge, just needs glassed before it will stick!

not really should be getting a R&A design icc tuning front splitter smoothed to it in a month or two

neilm's looks nice and subtle hmmmm choices choices

Heres a quick photoshop, what it will look like I am getting it fitted so can see what its going to be like before having it smoothed in as it has not got much clerance when rested up against bumper

Nope not a fan of DTM's would rather have the gap between the M3's smoothed in custom

The photoshop should be all you need to work out the splitter looks shit on the bumper. Why smooth everything, only to fit something that doesn't follow any lines.

When it's like this, different is a bad thing.

Thats a poor photoshop was a 2min thing and nope it doesn't line up right but when on it follows the lines of the bumper!
