I was caught driving with no License tax MOT Insurance and a Sidelight bulb out in 2002, i passed my test July 2003 should have had it revoked straight away but got a further 3 points and lost my license, it's only been revoked but with the point in my first year of driving it still cost me £1400 to insure my Corsa SRi... now i'm resiting my test as soon as i pass my insurance will be £840 Fully Comp on a Corsa with a 2.0 16v Conversion

Plus he was fined £800 when he was pulled over on sunday
The truck failed its MOT on tuesday and cant be fixed till monday and if an mot certificate isnt presented at the police station by midnight on sunday he will have to go to court again

I toltally agree with you, personally i think he should have been banned vos everyone pays tax and mot for a reason so i dont think there is any excuse and £1800 in fines is a pretty light let off, judges decision tho

Its not a great day out but you consider the money saved by not having it, it doesn't look so bad.
