Been again to PD Gough of Nottingham today for a definate quote of what I want doing to my Corsa 2.0 16V-
Manifold back - full top grade stainless 2.25" bore exhaust system. Mandarel bent, THREE silencer boxes and twin 3" inward rolled slash tapered chrome tail pipes.
Fully hand crafted and guarenteed for as long as the company are in business - been there 20 years so far.

Spent £10k on the car so far but whats another £400.00
ooh and another £300 work to be done on the engine (replace seals etc), ooh and new brake pads/discs, ooh and new rear tyres and new....
This is taking the wee wee

No power gains expected, just want it to be super-quiet. The quietest 2.0 Corsa there is with smart tail pipes. Maybe 1-2 bhp?
Fed up with the boy-racer image. Gonna peel off the limo tint soon and just get a light-smoke put on soon.
Anybody got any arse end pics of a std corsa bumper with 2 x 3" pipes?

Believe it or not was looking at racing steels, black - they do em in Tweeks but i'd want some 16 x 7 and I think they are rare to find in that size. Whats everyone's oppinion on what I should do next to the exterior? Ive played about a lot with the internals, fancy something new to the outside. Im also now running 45mm up on the front end, soon to be raising the rear to 40mm as it handles much nicer.

I'd try and make it how a 5dr valver corsa would have rolled off the production line if vaux had ever made one as standard... reckon that'd be pretty unique.

i.e leave the outside as it is?
What about colourcode, ive been in 2 minds about this for years as im convinced it would make the car too blue, the black plastic (if treated) looks smart and breaks up the blue well.

No badges. ^ what the badge will get robbed or the car
Should that honestly be the next investment as ive de-badged it bar a 16V badge? When its sounding like a std 1.0 or 1.2 I should do it, what about JUST a 12V badge - that will get em giggling

£400's nothing for the amount of work going into it plus the benefits you'll get out.
Stop posting and do it!

It was "Fully hand crafted" before...
I suggest you ask for a £200 discount
From your revised description of the work involved, it sounds more like you'll be getting a Powerflow system

I say keep the black trim mate, it looks really good against the blue and provides a nice contrast
Maybe just a nice set of corsa C alloys and decent tyres too and keep it Total Vauxhall
