just comin home from cardiff along wenvoe when a copper on his bike sittin on a side road checking everyone he then pulls off follows me up he road know me and me mate werent wearing seatbelts... £30 fine each.. also my tax has run out! i completely forgot about it! he goes to me what month isit and i was like hmmmm march why? well ur tax has run out sunny.. i was like Doh! he wrote some stuff down about my tax but didnt say he would do anything about it? im worried that hes gonna tell the dvla then give me 3 points etc? but surely he should of said something?

your fault at end of day mate come on everyone knows that you got to put your seatbelt on , and you got to keep up to date with your tax insurance or you suffer the worst

Yes I do, only even have it off movig na car on my drive, that's it. don't fancy using the windscreen instead tbh.

Tax is a bugger, just hope DVLA dont' send you automatic fine thing aswell, did you get a reminder??

you never forget your seat belt mate its a normal part life soon as u sit in the seat seatbelt on mate it will save yourlife 1 day

How can you drive and not wear a seatbelt, you mad or just plain silly?

Pay the fine, move on and learn from it. Your lucky you werent doing 60, had to brake harshly and didnt go head first through your windscreen, onto the road and splat.

Will look forward to picking up off the road

Then you should have put it back on the second u got in the car.

The copper wouldnt have given you a fine unless he thought it was necessary to do so.

hmmm unlucky dave

although, i do agree with the fact that it was a bit silly not to be wearing a seatbelt! My mate had a crash about two weeks ago with his girlfriend in the car - neither of them were wearing seatbelts! Both of them are now in intensive care and my mate might have to have his leg amputated - not a pretty sight

but as for the tax, dont worry, i always forget too - just rely on my dad to remind me

I always got my seatbelt on.... even if im parked up i always forget to take it off lol

I feel alot safer driving with one on..... but i know ppl who dont wear them all the time... more fool them i say, whoever gets in my car i tell them to wear their seatbelt... but only cos i drive like a nutter.... so im told
