Im thinking of lowering my car but not got my new alloys on yet as im still undecided on which ones
Which is better for lowering and how much should i lower it by front and rear?
Opinions please

suspension is best for lowering 
and as a general rule anything more than 35-40mm will change the ride and generally be more uncomfortable

Keep the handling decent..
A Set of 15's would be good, mines decked 60mm.

cut you springs in half with an angle grinder, get down to halfrauds and grab a set of fox five spokes, sorted

If it's a C go for Eibach springs 30mm all round. Will set you back about 120 big ones
Or you could be greedy like me and get shocks and springs, costs a lot though

The Prices for Just Springs from any company, vary alot! (some under a 100) I would go for a full kit..
New Springs..original dampers wouldnt work well together.. replace the entire suspension of your car..

not totally true, standard dampers work fine as long as the drop isn't too severe. 30mm eibachs on standard shocks on the corsa C work really well and makes a big difference

i'm not sure what it's like for the B, not much experience there. Understand what you're saying though, just comes down to budget at the end of the day

Not a good idea.
As stated, on corsas they have pigs tail springs on the rear, and cuttin would not allow the spring to seat properly.
Either way its a stupid thing to do & highly dangerous.
Best thing to do would be to go to coil springs, i think its www.coilsprings.co.uk, they will make up springs, any poundage, any hieght, i know of a cav on 120mm drop all round.

I was only joking with the coment of heating the springs, as this is just as dangerous as cutting cause the spring can split as its warped out of shape and the tensions have been affected.
Go spax kit or springs

Its a corsa b an is still on the standard 13's it came with

well u need to decide wether u are goin for a 40mm or a 60mm drop cos if u do the 60 mm on stnadard 13's then ur car will be too low for most speed bumps, 40 is low enough on standards
