as some of you already know i am currently waiting for my ban, im guessing iv got about a month or so left on the road and seen as my saxo is declared off the road b the cops and is too fucked to get fixed in time i thought i may aswell get rid. so me being stupid and all i have basically swapped my 02 reg vtr with a 93 corsa sri  ........
jst before the buyer (pauls corsa) was about to pick it up i gave the saxo one last clean seen as it hasnt been touched for about 6 weeks and my mate took it for a spin to try and get the rear wheel unlocked whilst i took some pics 
the reason why i sold the saxo for so cheap was that it needed alot of work doing to get ut passed an MOT and the police told me the car cannot be driven until it gets one done. so what does the buyer do, he drives the car away  no tax, no mot, and i wernt sure if he had insurance at the time. its right tho, not as if the car is well known so nobody would realise
anyway the car that i have owned for the past 2 years has now gone and i have gone and got myself another corsa. for a 12yr old car it isnt too bad. jst need to sort a few things out and itl be right. not my kind of styling but itl do for the time being. would had preffered a gsi or more subtle kit with smaller wheels but i polished the car up and heres some pics iv taken
and of course being a badly fitted fibreglass kit the fornt bumper after 1 day came away from the car so i had to think of a way to ack the car up as the skirts were in the way
took me all day to clean the car, sun was shining, never seen an /l reg look so black before then this happened  
sorry about the long post, i javnt posted pics in ages so may aswell do them all at same time. and before u say the chromes lok better than the comps. i bought the comps cos i wanted my car to be lower and i got bored of a kitted up saxo on 17s.

all comments welcome except for 'why did u swap ur car for the corsa?'. u can also talk about pauls new addition to the paxo
18s and says theres no scrubbing. dont think so mate

custom - u like the corsa better?  when i get banned, GSi kit will be going on woith some smaller wheels and a better engine, im hoping for that valver to go in 
james - it wasnt just the amount of work, i only have a month left on the road and i didnt have time to get it thru an mot and bk on the road before my ban comes through and more importantly that car jst got me into so much trouble, lets see if its any different with the corsa.
sxi - cheers mate. it was nice last summer with the chromes but then over winter they looked too dull so i decided to go for the white wheels. i grew to like them more and will prob get white wheels on the corsa. black with white rims

i was goin to put L33 LEG back on but have decided against it for time being. the police havnt realised it is me yet driving it but im sure ill get pulled up some night soon and thyel probably impound it for something

theyre a nice design but the car will look to high now. i got 15s as i thought 17s made it look to hig but its not my car anymore so its his choice. however, if an aftermarket spoiler goes on that car or any fibreglass crap i will not be pleased

err NO!!! those 1.4 8v Sri's can certainly get you into deep water i was clocked at 90 odd mph just after i had been sittin at 120 along the A92 !!

ill say it again
get rid of the plate
the police know the plate and as soon as they see it they wil pull you to see why the plate is on a diff car
then pull you for the same resons they had last time
for a easy life sell the plate

i havnt had the plate on my car since november, thye knew me as the cocky dick who drives the black saxo. but yes, as soon as i put the plate on this car they will realise who it is. its a very small town so itl be hard to hide from them but its been 2 nights so far and i havnt been pulled
dnt worry - the reg will go on for when i come back after the ban

ye iv noticed u bought another. theyre great cars really, jst slow n heavy. and those pedals are even gayer than my paxo ones.
ill get it looking nice soon, at the moment i just feel 17 again not my styling at all but itl do for the time being.

ye the accelerator is really high and the clutch is like a metre long. the brake pedal seems to move but u cnt feel the car stopping. and the steering is sooooo light, i always thought without power steering ud have more feel to the wheels whilst driving, obviously not

Nice car there good swap Makw sure you send the log book off A.S.A.P so the coppers don,t see the saxo and blame you for things.

i didnt buy the saxo like that. it got paint stripped last year and then the window kicked in when i was driving off. its funny now when u look back on it
i admit i am mad for swapping but i wanted a car desperatly to drive before i get banned. i tried the bus but got bored. im n ot ready for the ban yet, i needed to drive
and for my project over the next year id rather kit up and tune a corsa than a saxo.
dnt worry tho, the corsa is not having that kit on for long
