I think Clios look much better as standard but cannot compare drives as i've only ever driven a 1.4 RT Clio (old shape one) and a 1.2 16v Clio. Both quite nippy IMO.

if your going for a smaller engined lower spec ones then the corsa. My mums had 2 and nerver had any problems. A friend has a clio 1.6 16v, which he got brand new, and its been back 3 or 4 times in 6 months for anoying little electrical faults.

My sister has just bought a 51 plate clio and tbh its a great car for the money, very nippy for a 1.2 16v and it looks good

Clios have LOTS of problems. Not saying corsas are problem free but i know lots of people with clios and they all have problems!

Yeh, where half, or more than half of the members on the board don't even own a corsa

I do prefer the clio, Jambo what kind of problems do the new shaped clios have?
