the new vauxhall astra vxr

Vauxhall's super-hot new Astra VXR will arrive in Britain this September, with prices starting at under £20,000.

The 152mph pocket rocket comes in at £18,995, with the car available to order now. VXR boasts 240bhp and is equipped with air conditioning, 18-inch alloys and ESP.

Under the bonnet is a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. It whisks the car to 62mph from standstill in a mere 6.2 seconds, with a top speed of 152mph.

Based on the three-door Astra Sport Hatch, the VXR is distinguished by a body-coloured V-grille, ground hugging side skirts and rear spoiler.

Neat detail touches include blue front and rear brake callipers and VXR badges. Massive 19-inch wheels are a £500 optional extra
it is fitted with Electronic Stability Control as well as 321 mm ventilated front disc brakes. Other items of equipment include air conditioning, Recaro seats, 18-inch wheels and side curtain airbags.

The new model will go on sale in September and will be joined by a VXR version of the new Zafira MPV, which is claimed to be the fastest MPV ever put into production. With essentially the same engine as the Astra VXR, we don't doubt it.

What do u mean fix it. - UK version allows more boost on full throttle hence more power - no need to fix it

Would rather spend a little more on a 350Z or RX8, but it looks nice.
