Well peeps, there comes a time in every mans life where he needs a little more power beneath his belt. So this afternoon I bought my new car! It's a 1996 P reg Ford Escort RS2000 2wd, 150bhp 2.0 16v, in white, 43000 miles, mint condition, unmarked Recaro interior, 17's, a full closure cold start Clifford Alarm and all for 3500 notes from Williams Motor Company, plus I got 2k for mine part ex

Pickin it up next Sat as I need some work done on my exhaust first, but here's a taster pic :

will post more when I get it!

I will actually be very sad to see the corsa go, as its an extremely rare example of 98 Corsa Sport - very well looked after, & i have no doubt that WMC will have any problems selling it 2k or beyond

williams motor company seem to have done you a decent deal there. I do know the owner is absolutely loaded, lives in £1million plus house on llandenis ave, cyncoed and drives a 360 ferrari.

Well, it's a simple equasion really, they didnt roll a 2.0 16v Recaro clad 150bhp monster Corsa out of Dagenham. That and I've always wanted an RS and it's only 1 step away from my dream Cossie!

oh, here are some pics by the way, strait from rs2000-16v.com :

Will be lowering it and getting either a Magnex or Longlife exhaust soon too, looks quite high on the 17's, Can't wait

cushdee - Yes the photo's were taken by the last owner down the knapp...he put them on the RS2000 forum

Bonzai - Yes the Rs2000-Cossie is a bloody massive step, Lee will prob have the RS for a good few years, if not keep it until bigger & better things, & when insurance comes down

Kurt - I don't think its sensible to spend 1.5k getting a corsa up to 150bhp? No bugger would want it!!! corsa's appeal to first timers/low ages/low IG....And they wouldnt be able to afford a 150bhpowered corsa?! The people that can afford them wouldnt look twice at a corsa really....(It was an option though, initially)...

Cheers Folks
