Yeah, desolated brings war and destruction to mind (well it does me anyway ).

Isolated you think more individual, alone, baron. Suppose with the shoot being quite cold, the "Ice" emphasis of the isolated would be more effective .

Can you not kind of zoom out a bit, so rather than just being her you can have alot more white space? Not ideal on a mag cover i know, but it will add effect if you do use the word isolated.
