Right, so we are going for a mass pissup and hoping we can have the mother of all weekends. So, supplies for this will be as follows :

Alcohol - Lots of alcohol
Food - Burgers/sausages generally stuff for bbq's
BBQ - Either a cheap 15 quid job that we can leave behind or a load of those disposable ones.
Charcoal/firelighters etc if we buy a cheap BBQ.

So the above, somehow, we need to get all of the above between us all. I am going to france on a booze run, so i can quite happily take care of all alcohol needs. The list so far is either 48 or 72 Bottles corona, 24 bottles stella, Few smirnoff ice, few WKD. Now, im more than happy to buy all of the above plus any more requested providing people give me £3 each at PVS towards my costs. Hopefully ill get 10 ppl doing this and this will cover my tickets and some fuel cost for me going to france. The other issue is food. How we go about it, who brings what, whats the best option etc. Im not being big headed but by going to france for the beer im saving a lot of money for you lot and im still willing to contribute towards food and BBQ, providing everyone else joining us is also willing to contribute towards food and bbq. I dont want one or 2 ppl saying they aint gonna do it then getting there trying to drink beers eat food of ppl who have payed for it all.

List of who is going...

Fad
James
Matt H
Halfpint
Me
Richard
Jim
Corb?

sorry if i have missed you off the list but i think the above is who will be convoying with us up there. We need to try and divide food/bbq costs up equally so no-one is paying the bulk of the costs. All ideas and requests will be dealt with in this thread and lets see what we can arrange between us all. Richard has already said he will give me money towards beer and stuff and is gonna be taking it all in his car up there.

I dont want this thread to cause arguments or anything, if it wont work we just take the beer and buy our own food up there but im sure you will all agree a bbq will be mutch more fun. Them only thing to consider with a bbq is the weather tho.........

Right well I think we should all just rbing our own food to make things a lot easier just so somone is not lumbered with storing and keeping all the food cool if that make sense?

As for the BBQ stu sugested we get a cheapy £15 one rather than buy loads of disposable ones? what does everyone think to that?

at worst on the way up there when we're all together we can pull into tesco or something and buy food then.

James, ill bring whats needed mate, as ill end up with a stack of beer to take home and ill be skint.
Is everyone ok with the £3 thing? Can give more if ya want, im not fussy.

Ill probably get 30 smirnoff ice, 24 bottles stella, 48 corona. That should keep us all quiet

As for the bbq, we should nominate someone to buy it and all chip in the money when we get there as well as bring our own food. I think a cheapo bbq is best bet, however im not doing a naked chef

If its a choice between me or your car getting wet, then i suggest you bring a towel to dry your car.

well, i have a couple of disposable bbq's so i'll bring them anyway incase theyre needed at some point. But aye, excellent idea party people.
What about Lee, or does he drink/eat for free in return for completely overhauling fads car in the past year and countless favours to everyone else!

Buying a decentish BBQ is the best bet

I don't know how many of you remember from last year but the grass was quite long in places & people were having trouble with the disposable ones torching the grass

I am liking the gazebo idea
