how many of you take car on track days?

i think we need a way of comparing performance of cars that isn't just straight line speed from standstill

a big CS track day would be good, if people took different types of corsa, would be a good way to compare, apart from the biggest factor = driver

Would they not just go in a straight line at the corners?

I would consider taking my astra on track if it were close enough to home

problem with these things is, if some noddy comes ploughing into the back of you then your fcuked in terms of insurance...

get track insurance....

Most trackdays (non competitive) are pretty safe if all the folk are like mindned in the fact that they dont want to wreck there cars......

A private hire (say a club day) would be pretty easy going, folk driving at there own pace etc
