I dont think im good enough or have the patience to do this myself, so im looking at paying someone, prefer a mobile one to do this for me and get them done in gloss black. Can anyone recommend a good company that will do this, approx price per wheel and pics of their work. Would appreciate it thanks

Pristine wheels in Woburn Sands. They just refurbed my white wheels and they can back absolutely spottless! though for 4 wheels + center caps it cost me £280!! Bit pricey but reflects in the work!

cool, spit and polish aint too far from me anyway, will ring round on monday. Does the wheel size make a big difference in prices? As i have 19" i just feel im gonna get arse raped with the price although i do think black wheels will suit the car big time.

if i can get it into jabbasport to get it remapped a bit better then i will, need more boost. Spoke to them and they will custom map it to take into account all mods, which the shuperhshite chip doesnt do. Should have about 18psi of boost after

hmm, i reckon i could do with a couple of shops first, not sure if gloss black would be too dark or not, tis a bit trial and error, they desperately need refurbishing tho. James, if you speak to him, ask him for a price for 4 19" RS6 replicas refurbished and done in black.

Stu.

Try RSR's on Bromley common mate. They send 'em away.
Obviously only any good if you've still got your standard wheels to put on in the meantime.

The trouble with mobile fellas is they have to do the work in the open and in the back of a grotty old van and the finish can be a bit ropey.

JR's arch nemesis at work had his wheels done in black by a mobile fella and they looked like he'd done 'em in his shed with an aerosol

A proper refurb specialist with premises and the correct equipment will usually manage to achieve a factory (or better) finish because the rims will be stripped and prepped correctly; and in very clean dry conditions and then coloured, finished and baked to a very high standard.

You do get what you pay for though, average is 40 to 50 quid a rim i'm afraid mate.

Jim

yeah RSR did my khans before i sold em and we dont have standard wheels, id need to put 19's back on to replace them while they were away as any smaller car would be too low to drive i think. Desperately need em done tho Only other option is to borrow a car from somewhere while the audi is off the road with the wheels getting done, but if i have to do this i might as well get it into a bodyshop for a full respray to sort all the damage through hit and runs. But if im gonna do that i might as well get the zender sideskirts, S3 rear bumper and maybe even a zender front. then the brakes i want, all adds up to mega money
