Have had a k700 for the last year, no probs with it.
Now i have been after a k750 for my upgrade, but as its brand new and popular and other factors, for the tariff im on vodafone want £60 for the phone.
Now i have read reviews of the k750 and they all think highly of the phone,
I like the quality of the pics, and its also good at being a phone! but one thing that i didnt realise was the quality of the videos when transfered to pc! they are terrible,
Step in the samsung e720
http://www.mobile-review.com/review/samsung-e720-en.shtml
The videos look 100x better than the k750 but the photo quality isnt as good, what is the software like on the samsung? is it slow?
Anyone got one would u recommend one? Can it play any java game like the k700/750 can do?
Shall i go for the cheap option of the D500?
Cheers!

I have a D500 & a K750
I also use a E720 everyday at work
Pic quality is crap on the samsungs & takes ages to take a pic.
What will you use more? A decent camera or a decent vid cammera?
Itsd not like your gonna get all your mates round to watch a high quality fiml you made on your phone.
Mobile vids are merely pub ammo. The camera is useful....

Phone up and ask for your pac code, then they will put you through to retention or retention will give you a ring. Ask for it again and then they will ask you why you want it. Telll them you have a better deal/want a better phone which there offer isn't good enough, then haggle. Tip though, phone up somewhere else and get a good quote for a tarriff you want. I bottled it at this point and fucked it up. So i had nothing to haggle with. Best she could do was knock 50 quid off upgrade charge (so it would cost me 30 quid for a k750i) but said she could sort a deal on the tariff if i had a quote to compare. And said she would knock a tenner off for 3 month to cover cost of the phone.
I did this yesterday with the help of Matt and ended up

Yea ive asked for my pac code,
Had the upgrade down from £150 to £60
But as my tariff is only £15 and i never go over my mins, he said i just cant offer you the k750 for any less cause the phone is worth £350
I told him "come on you dont pay £350 for the phone though do you"
Because he dropped the price from £150 to £60 i said ill think about it, had his no. and name and hung up.
BUT I FORGOT TO ASK FOR THE PAC CODE after this conversation!

Dean, my suggestion to you is stop being a tight cunt
A new phone at cost price is roughly £280
If your on £15 a month thats £180 a year.
From a business point of view would you give someone a £280 handset knowing you will probably only recieve £180 back over the year?
£60 is not a lot considering how much it does......

When I last got a free upgrade I wanted the K700i but because it was new out O2 wanted £60 for it even though they were selling it for free when you took out a new contract.
I told the woman on the phone I was gonna cancel my existing contract and take out a new one so I could get the phone for free, she said 'hold on I'll see what I can do', she came back and said I could upgrade for free
Its always good to haggle

hehe i know i am a tight cunt.
Had enough of being ripped off over the years by these major mobile companies and now im having my own back,
When i took up my last contract the k700 was £300 sim free the whole year for my contract and the phone only cost me say £200ish
I think i might.....
Go pay as u go for 3 months (waiting for the premiership to start back)
Join 3
Get the best phone their offering, that nokia 6630 or summin with 2 cameras
Get a class deal and also pay the extra £5 a month on premiership highlights!

Cost price is the price they buy them in at, the sim free prie is what they charge you
Sim free the K750i is about £350 to buy.
I have my upgrade in afew months, gonna get a W800i I think
