hey, im goin buying a 1.4 sri tomoro (providing its all legit), that ive seen locally, but it says 1.4 16v on the back (original vauxhall type badges - not the chav mods from motorworld  i asked him about that on the phone and he said its an N reg and is a 16v, he said after that they started to make them 8v (may have got that the wrong way round sorry if i have)
is he bullshitting? and hes askin £1500 for it... 67,000 miles, cambelt changed, brakes done in january mot only till october, white, colour coded bumpers, lexus lights, sport interior, no rust at all or scratches, mint condition, i knocked £100 of price by saying he could keep his shit wheels lol. but is it worth £1400 ?? sorry - no pics, but it is mint condition.

I used to have an SRi 16v......yes they do exist  Its the same engine as in the Corsa Sport 1.4 16v (X16XE)

cheers lads, just checking, so its just same as sport really (2 versions i mean) - 1.4 8v and 1.4 16v sri and theres 1.4 16v sport and 1.6 sport?? glad its ok then, so its the same as the 1.4 16v sport engine then ?? shud b quite quick then compared to my shitty 1.2 8v anyway lmao

other corsa is being scrapped mate, so got standard plastics for sale, etc,. and ill be puttin kit on this new one, so there will be white colour coded bumpers for sale which are from the new one - mint condition, just want my kit on thats all

glad they are reasonably quick got an induction kit that should go on, it even makes my 1,2 sound okay, so shud b good for a 1.4

Mate of mine used have a 1.4 16v M-reg SRi, they sounds awesome with a induction kit on, makes the 1.2's sound like kittens compared to the roar of the 1.4/1.6 engines.

I got 16v sri m reg too, not put the induction kit on yet might do it tommorow see what it sounds like been sat here for ages and couldnt be assed to fit lol, got lucky with mine has full electrics (apart from sunroof)
