carpet may be staying... can source you a very black carpet though mate if u want.... i'll get back to you

its random how much weight is in the back of cars. when i stripped my old nova gsi, must have rasied the back 20-30 mil just by removing everything

yep... so far ive got the full m-tec kit including gearlinkage whatsit for 150 quid or thereabouts

i need to shop where you do..........

if your removing the tarmatting sound deadening crap from back, get hair dryer and a scraper on the job.

that gsi of mine dont have no carpets, door cards, none of the centre console, just the basic dash and 2 deats. aint actually that noisey, just a twat as nowhere to stach red bull tins on way to work

very cool
i found easyst way of getting sound deadning out was wallpaer scraper and do it cold so it come off in 1 go and doesnt get stickyer

that engine is well clean

mine wouldnt come off unless heated up on the nova. corsa i got was pretty much all ready de-tar matted, just had to finish it off.

proper roll cages can be got from motorsport direct. 420 ish i think. proper fia jobbie if you weld it in. not really sure thems your kinda prices, probably find a 2nd hand one on a rally board for couple hundred
