wel as the title says, maybe its just me being paranoid, but i seem to have lost quite a bit of water, and the car seems to be missfiring at low revs between 1-3k
when lee had the car he said the same, but he opend her up and there was to cylinders ful of water! sparkplugs and that all rusty as fuck, anywya lee fixed this, replaced plugs with brand spankers,
but now it seems to be happing again
shall i take the spark plugs out and see if there is water in there again or what?
the water is also not excellently clean, its a wee bit manky as in oil manky
anyone any suggestions, or do all xe's do this at low revs?
also on starting her up, she sometime a bit shy, she always starts (touch's wood) but it seems top struggle a wee bit, my mate started up a calibra in his yard with a redtop in it, and that seem to start sluggish too, so maybe its em all or just our 2

a pourous head will allow coolant to mix with oil, or sometimes allow coolant into cylinder bore-usually confirmed by bores with coolant in and plugs that smell off coolant. very common problem with the GM cylinder heads.

like he says.
if u do have water in the bores u r looking at either
1)head gasket
2)cracked cylinder head
3)porous cylinder head
this will explain why its struggling because coolant wont combust.

it screws in where the plug sits, wind car over and it displays the compression in each individual cylinder.

nope, its caused by the metal of the head between the coolant galleries and the oil galleries becoming porus (allowing the liquids to pass through.)
is there white smoke coming from exhaust?
loss of water may just be a loose jubilee clip or a tiny split in a pipe.

well just been out all nite in her, no smoke from exhaust, mate said its not missfiring its just me being paranoid, but when we took the top off the water tank, it was full to the top water pissin out.
so who knows maybe its just me being worried, maybe i'm not. i'll take the plugs out tomoz and see if there is water in, just for peace of mind.
mate said i should get the cat off too as its restricting it as it is for a 1.4 not a 2.0.

get rid of the 1400 system, engine wont rev up s quickly, will be forcing the crap out. did it on my red xe bus, changed it for 2 inch twin box no cat and never missed a beat.
know what you mean about being paranoid, dont think you'd last 2 mins in my car with all the random noises it makes old boy
