Rob/broster/teddy tech seem to be gettign very near if not under the weight of my car

so ive gone and bought

Team dynamics Prorace 1.2's, much much lighter than my wheels
fibreglass bonnet
Fibreglass boot

another few KG's off

What about the perspex windows? U cant really take much else off your car can u?
Oooh what about getting rid of the roof rails?

i ran about for 6months with the roof rails off, looks a bit gay

might gte perspexs windows, the do scratch really easily though

it does but you can make a standard boot lid weight similar if not less that a fiberglass one with the use of an angle grinder.....

jr you still have heater matrix?

nice purchases by the way.... ill be playing catch up properly soon

indeed, depending on how long (the boots have to be made in batcheds) i may just angle grind mine, want it to look tidy though

angle grind it and it will look good, dont forgte that fiberglass ones arn't made to look good. the standard one with some choice mods will always look better.....

oooh no heater matrix, i would get rid of mine but i use the car all year round and i havent seen heaters to look good yet! how do you deal with the window misting up?

if it doesnt come through soon ill do mine,

the way i deal with the windows misting up, is not to drive it

Get the windows then as if u dont drive it they cant get scratched.

but as my car lives outside, 1 it may leak, and 2 the car cover i have seems to be made for sand and the most scratch helpfull thing ever

where you get bonnet boot from?
will the boot hold orig glass? or perspex
wil rear window be heated?
will the boot be on hinges or clips?

Have them made out of heavy duty polycarbonate (like new car headlight lenses), dearer but more resilient, and I think even lighter than perspex.

Easy, it doesn't, he never drives it

The whole reason for it's existence is so that James can eventually make a lighter than air Corsa, so he can actually fly it over the desert where he lives and on to new civilisations
