Yea, it is more like a Cavalier site than a Vauxhall site... It's annoying.

cav's aint gash lookin, theyre very understated for what they were.

thing is most of em are fooked, dead 4x4 rotten rear suspension mounts etc like the one i bought, so it was better off removing the engine than fixing it.

migweb is a good web site, just theyre up their own arses about certain cars and stereotype nova and corsa owners to be 17 year olds with wide arches and neons.

i can remember when on mig if you didnt have a mk2 astra gte 16v, nobody would talk to you, man, that was about 5 years ago

really though, if the fella who made the thread paid money for the cav for the conversion to his astra, surely its his choice to rip it to bits.

i enjoyed ripping a cally 16v to bits for my xe corsa and also ripping a cav turbo to bits for the engine for my corsa gsi. satisfied me knowing that there are less of these 75tonne barges getting in the way of other faster vauxhalls

get the video recorder out with you standing by the car then get all your mates to go up to you one by one and ask for a door or whatever and you ripping it off and giving it to them - sounds good in theory

Cav Turbos are really understated absolutely love them

Remeber when i was younger trying to persuade my dad to buy one. I've been told once you drive one you'll be smitten.

Its a shame they are so rare now hence why even a rotter is worth 2.5K min.

If you have a read of other Cav threads you'll find its a set amount of Cav Turbo owners who are up their own arses because they drive a now rare car, as said if someone wants to break one then its up to them, its not helped by certain members winding said Cav owners up when they break one
