apparantly ive been caught speeding by camera in a 40mph zone on the A46. now i do this road all the time and i didnt see a flash or anything. it was midnight btw.
so i have to fill this form out on the back. what happens?
this is the first time ive been caught.
is there courth proceedings?

There should be no court proceedings unless you want to argue that it wasn't you... There should be a photo if you want proof it was you...

ask for the photographs, also if it was midnight i dont think you would have missed a BIG FLASH do u?
maybe they have made a mistake with the plate...
i take it this is a 30mph road? what if it was you going the other way and they had some cowboy reading you front plate insteasd of there back plate?

Some wont care. They will probably stick on a token £50 but everyone has points now... Or on the other hand they might octoply your premium, it depends on how many seconds after 12pm it is, what thier random number genorator says, if it's a full moon and what the air humidity level is in Brighton.

always get a picture before you admit to it cos it may not be you or your car, just the plate thats been cloned. plus if it is you at least you will have something to show for your £60

as Demo said someone could be cloning you ?
but he is right about getting something for ya £60 if they are crap pictures send them back and ask for nicer resolutions and ask if they could "photoshop" it

like CCTV camera's? i thought they were just to monitor traffic conjestion and crashes etc?
surely its illegal to use them and speed traps as they are not CLEARLY visible?

No these are digital speed cameras. The monitor speed and work out your average speed. They are more than visible.
