Cheers. Got an induction kit in my room waiting to be fitted. I'll fit it at somepoint . Hoping to get it fitted, serviced, and 2 new front tyres ( ) before the next RWYB at Santa Pod.

Looking very nice mate, a colour code and Leon Cupra-R splitter would complete that.
Which induction kit did u go for?? We changed from a green enclosed hurracaine kit to a BMC CDA a few weeks back on my bro's Cupra-R, seems to pull smoother now and the noise is lush. Get yourself a Forge 007P recirc if you haven't already as the standard Bosch valves are pretty rubbish.
Here's a pic of it with his new rims.
Oh and you need Brembos!! they are awesome.

LCR front splitter is on the list, as is a colour code. Hoping the front will look like this:
I got the Hurricane Induction Kit, picked it up for £70 so can't complain, probably not the best kit on the market but it was a bargain. Already got a Forge DV007P
Got a few mods on the shopping list, black 17's, H&R Cup suspension kit, cat back exhaust, REVO remap, and Brembo's.
Absolute love that Cupra R!! Quite a rare machine too.

Cheers Nath, some very nice mods you've got planned. My bro wants a remap eventually but doesn't want to spoil it as like you say the R's are very rare. Something stupid like 200 in the country, and less than 75 in black!! crazy. Not driven a normal Cupra but his has 180bhp and it's lovely to drive. Initial take off isn't lightning but midrange in 3rd is very impressive.

Its around 157bhp IIRC. The Cupra-R is the 180bhp model.

Not driven an R but my Cupra feels plenty fast. Like you say it's not lightning in first or second but third, fourth, and even fifth are all fun. Overtaking on a motorway in 5th is easy, even at 80mph it wants to go faster. I've only had it since August and I still love driving it. I'll have it at least 2 years so i'll progressively mod it to exactly how I want it. In the region of 210bhp should be nice.
Definately love the Cupra-R, not many changes from the Cupra but the changes that are there really make it that little bit more special.
