This is what was left of my mates corsa 1.6 gsi!!!

(I know its a corsa, and how they are pish, blah blah, and that charvs drive em, but this was actually nice, except for his temporary alloys, which were due to get changed soon)

The pictures show what was left of his corsa, following a near miss head on collision at 115ish mph, when an on coming car was pulling an overtaking monouvere, lining them up for a heavy smash...

My mate just missed this car, braked and swereved as a result of this...

Hit the kerb, down a grassy bank, into a wall, fliping the car twice, and landing ontop of another wall, a few metres from the first, with the flips being forward ones, not sides!!!

Him, and another mate both had to be cut outta the car by fire rescue, with bobby (driving), unconscious, and legs trapped, and the other mate, concious!

They got air liffted to dif hopsitals, with bobby eventualy coming round, and other mate fine. Overall bobby has 3 cuts in head, bruised legs, scrapped arm, and back ache, whilst other mate has ripped all the ligamints in one hand, and has whiplash!!!

Bobby also didn;t know where he was, the day, or what he was doing due to concusion!!!

Luckily both are ok now, and I have still not convinced bob to join the veedub scene...he's goin for a 306gti (not bad)!!!!

Corsas are rock solid cars(cant belive i said that) must have been very well design for crash impacts

my mate didnt make in his 106 doing around 60mph

would never touch a saxo or 106 with the ammount of deaths by people crashing them

Doesn't matter how well designed the car is going from 60mph+ to 0mph in less than a second creates so much g-force that you internal organs turn to goo and come out of your mouth and ears....

Ed is right

Cars are desgined to crumple up as much as possible under impact to absorb all the inertia and save your internal organs, the more messy a car looks the better off the occupants will be most likely
