Just before i was born my dad had a mk1 lotus twincam,
full cage. wide arch, turreted!

I wish he kept the bloody thing it would be worth a fortune now!

Still its my mission to build and restore one by the time im 30!!

the white cossie is steve scotts of A1 rally sport and is a road car, it still races with number plates on it, N1 FMC i think

the ANZ 500 is martin johnstons who also owns the texico and labbats rs500's

not neccesarily. mk1 and mk2 look the same from the side but slightly different from front and rear

he means fiesta, the one fiesta pic you posted is a mk2. original fiesta mk1s had the circular headlights as on the escort mk2 and later mk1s had square shaped headlights.

Nice cars and some are bloody fast. In Malta, mk1 used to be very common and are still but most of them are used as dragsters for 1/4 mile. Very cheap to buy around here, lately saw one for Lm 900 (~1420 GBP) and it was heavily tuned. My father used to have a mk2 but damn it he sold it
