can you confirm this? im sure its the same as the b16 series over here in our vti's? bearing in mind they use 100 octane fuel over there as well?

has it been SVA'd because i know there hard to get thought the test thats why theres so few of them in the UK

the vti is a B16A2 engine

the ek9 type r is B16B

yup ek9, is nothing like teh vti we get over here, chassis is basicaly race preped, engine has extensive work on it to rev higer and more freely, ek9s are beast of cars when driven prperly

Lush cars, rare as fook and the quickest of all the Type R bunch.

Corsa Munkey- different engine to the VTI. 5.7 is pretty accurate, ITR is 6.2 and the EK9 type r is quicker.

vti is about 7.2, ek9 is 5.7

i had a play with me mates c20xe corsa gsi the other week off a roundabout to about 50mph i had to keep backing off

lol

after that there isnt a great deal in it !

basically the B16B ek9 engine is a DE-stroked integra type r engine. it shares almost all engine components with the teg !

they fetch around £8500-£9000 for a 1997 R plate!

last T99 i loooked at was £11495 but that was 18 months ago
