hey, i bought some new Clocks with blue dials but the milage is much higher than my car,
Does any 1 know how to move the milage backwards ?

on ferris buelers day off, they jcaked it up and put it in reverse.
maybe that will work

id just leave it mate just make a note of your current milage and the milage the new clocks are in before you put em in

thats why the dvla put the mileage onto the v5 now though.
its illegal to clock cars unless you are ferris beuler

There is nothing in the law that sdays you cant alter the mileage of a car!

Was replying to the post made about there isnt anything in the law saying you can't do it,
Though isnt the yellow cog in the photo above to reduce the mileage to what is on his car..

If it's a mechanical speedo then it's very easy to alter the mileage, I don't know about electronic ones though.
PS I am not going to say how, it should be quite obvious how to do it!

its not illlegal to correct millage But it is illegal to correct millage and sell it as genuine millage as this is fraud if u clock a car and sell is as non gen millage this is with no history this is not illegal but i still wouldnt advise doing it as ur bound to get found out

No it isn't. It would be perfectly legal for me to put on some clocks onto my car which had a milage reading of 0. So long as when I go to sell the car I state the correct milage and not try to decieve the buyer.
