inside here there is a small sensor type thing lol just wondering what it is?



its got 2 wires going to it, the big red one from airbox and a blacke one from front of carb to back

You mean the thing in the middle of the throttle body with a blue and a brown wire goin to it? That's your injector...

undo the two screws and have a look! its your carb. its on the inlet manifold. the red "wire" is a vacuum pipe that operates the flap in the airbox

NOT a carb

single point injection, so will contain 1 injector, and the throttle butterfly

the black wire circled red goes to the sensor

MIDDLE PIC
the red wire circled green also goes to the sensor
the idle control valve circled red is where the black wire comes from

The brown thingy circled Green is the power for the single injector

the red pipe is a vacuum pipe which goes to your air box and controls either hot or cold air flow

just had a look in haynes its idle speed control/throttle position sensor

Is it not one of the vacuum pipe ends that pushes onto the rear of the black round inlet housing

have you disconnected anything from it ie wires or pipes

Right so the brown thingy connects onto the red vacuum pipe which goes to the air box the brown thing then clips onto a nipple type thing either on the underside of the black housing that fits over the injector or onto the neck of the inlet manifold
