Hi people just got a big bore 4 off my mate and fitted it myself and it isnt really very loud could this be because ive done it wrong? any suggestions its a 1.0 12v thanx

all the 1.0 12 v and 1.2 8v have really restrictive cats,it was like that on my car so we cut the cat off and its basically just got the one silencer,sounds good,but need a friendly garage for an mot tho,real friendly

corsaclayton, dont listen to anyone, do what ya want with ur car. when i was 18 i had a nova sr that wasnt particualrly fast at all which had a big bore 4 on it

Had that about 3 weeks after my 19th birthday

i wouldnt have a clue, exhausts aint something i dabble with to be honest. mine is made of flexi pipe and cost about 17 quid, lol

remove a silencer and have a pipe welded on in place or buy a straight through pipe. doubt it would growl though more like a constant fart .

I was skitting yes I had a magnex on my first car a nova sr 1.4 big bore is just not good imo obviously
