On the way back from work in Manchester tonight we needed some fuel, so pulled up into the shell garage just before the M56 and this was on the forecourt!!





The bloke was paying in front of me and he had just picked it up from importing it form the USA (left hand drive) and this was literary his first drive of his new baby!! He went on to say that he owned some company called Locost something (I couldn't hear that bit) and this was just one of his supercars!!

It then took him about 8 mins to get in the car and he did look rather stupid doing so But once it started up and he floored it up the road!! My god what a noise and what a car!

its not a ford gt40, the original le mans cars were the gt 40s because they were 40 inches tall.

Clarkson got them as soon as they came out from ford afaik.
Nobody got them till ford had finished them, no matter how rich they were.
