id say save for tb's having done both myself, have had new inlet etc etc, then got tb's worth every penny

thought the 164 kit was £1700+ vat, it is on their price list anyway. This kit usually ony puts out about 145-155 bhp anyway, then you need to get it all mapped. so you are looking at about £2400 for 150ish bhp including the mapping etc....

Just put an inlet manifold on mine.
you can still get them direct from Mantzel. Works out about £420 delivered.

Have got a Mantzel, Janspeed manifold, de-cat and magnex back box.
Goes very well. I've been speaking to a few people here, and they reckon it's around 125bhp.

That's an estimate.
It needs a proper RR to see what it is actually on. I would like to know myself.

I have read that some X16Xe engines have gone up to around 140 with the mods i have listed.
My exhaust is blowing, so that isn't helping. The difference is un real. I would really recomend going down the inlet route.
So far i have spent the following: -
Inlet Manifold - £520
Exhaust Manifold - £200
De-Cat - £60
V6 Brakes - £250 <---- Needed!
