poor engine.....my mums got a 2.0 zetec and thats fast.....well compared to my 1.2 8v at least

i think people generally talk shit about fords mate. it isnt a poor engine at all. jr hopefully will agree with me... although hes too old skool lol

My cousin has one. The gearbox is clunky and they feel very cheap. Didn't think it was that quick either when I went out in it

i actually learnt to drive in one of these thought it was a brillant car but did break down twice.think they look pritty good.

Like the handling/ride, but again I think they're slightly underpowered (compared to what the drivers seem to think they're in)...

What else are you considering?

great engine, tuneable!

they handle well and go ok, but there is always the feeling it could be faster, like most cars.... reasonably priced now too

st is 170bhp 2ltr na engine, st is more bhp and 2ltr turbo with wide arches and cool interior

they weigh nearly 1300kg with 170bhp and only 193nm of torque. Even with the very close gearbox ford put in, its not as quick as it should be, fact.

0-62mph: 8.2 seconds
Maximum speed: 134mph
Insurance: Group 15

Always liked these but they are quite underpowered, would want better 0-60 times than that!
