Just went out to look for some prices for bits I need for my car. Well here is the breakdown
Pollen Filter - £5.10 from Vauxhall
Brake Shoes - £16.44 for axel set from motor factors
Rear Wheel cylinders - 7.50 x2 from motor factors
Rear wheel barings - £29.15 x2 from Vauxhall
Drums - £28.90 x2 from motor factors
Grand Total = £152.64
Only buying all those bits as a precaution, might not need them all so should be able to take them back and get some cash back. But cars are expensive
Let alone the £20 I am paying my mate to fit it all for me after work (he works at nissan garage so has a ramp etc

I had to pay £75 for some spark plugs.
Renault charge £400+ to change a cambelt
I would be loving a bill for £150
