The car went today finally Got a grand for it which is reasonable.
Now after a new motor, which I intend to use as a track car on weekends. Was originally after a GSI but found this, wondering whether you think it seems good or not??

Looks pretty good mate, just got to watch the usual stuff on them like shafts, gbox etc...
1800's maybe a bit steap but you could work on that...
Mines due me 1600 the way it stands at the moment after doing disc conversion etc..

You would be supprised at what people have done to a rallye!
id say the rallye would get a better time around most tracks than a GSi due to the handling.

There not exactly stripped inside as standard mate, plenty can be taken out..
Did have mine without back seats etc but the noise got to me...
And yeh keeping them goings the hardest bit.. Check rear axle etc before buying..

I think a Rallye would make a better track car than a GSi.
Buy the anthracite Speedline Turinis I have for sale. Would look cool on a Rallye

Just rang up about that car, its based in london and the owner sounded like such a chav it was unbelievable. Id rather find one closer to home and in better nick looking anyway. Any ideas where I can look? Theres no classifieds on the forums

Just take a look at Kano's, that should be reason enough for someone to want one.
