As above - Any SERIOUS Suggestions? I don't fancy Viper stipes or anything shite like that!

Just have a bit of free time on my hands this week, and haven't got a lot of money, so was wondering what I could do to amuse me and hopefully make my car better!

and haven't got a lot of money,

thatll be a no then!!

Dismantle headlights and smoke them, smoke the rear clusters (only lightly) skoked side reps, the above debadgins and removal of rubstrips, a damn good clean and polish. if you can run to some hammerite, drop the fuel tank and paint up the floorpan.

Nobody look in my garage? :S

It's debadged completely (bar the one on grille and rear lock) - Front one will go when I get Post 97 Bumper and Badgeless Grille.

Rub strips are new - needed something to add detail to side as it was too bland! Good job I did too, as sum fcuker scraped them the other day!

Side Repeaters are Zafira jobbies, Got a Punto Wiper, Done all my lights - ie. Ultra White H4 Xenon Bulbs, Ultra White LED 501 Sidelights, Ultra White Rear Number plate Light, Done Ripspeed Gearknob and starting to add higher spec Corsa bits - Gear Gaitor, Glovebox, Steering Wheel, In process of fiddling with ICE...

Any more ideas?!

Just a thought....

Get yaself down the scrappy and get some rear vauxhall cavalier/astra/vectra door handles and de-lock the car (providing you have central locking)

I clean it at least once a week! In and out! Febreeze interior - does better job. Back to black and polish every wash and 2 pre washes with Wash and Wax.

Tempted to save up for Smoked DEPO's instead of spraying my own incase it goes tits up! Not sure bout rears as yet. May do the detailing like attacking with hammerite and waxoyl etc underneath tho - and maybe clean engine bay again!

I might be taking my suspension off soon and treating myself to something lower but i have some other things i need to treat myself to first so you can buy that if you want Rich, well, once you get some money topgether of course

CHeap mods, how about polishing the rocker cover on the engine, one takes 2 secs to remove but will take an age to polish I did it on my 8 valve when I had it. Took a lot of work but looked good IMO

I don't have C/L atm - how hard is it to do - would love to do it as so many bloody people forget and leave my car unlocked on their side! Painted calipers are on the agenda when I take the wheels off to fit the springs

Oh and of course the best mod is coming soon! Talking to SplatGraphics regarding some URL stickers

Thinking of possibly being different and going for this:

at least polish once a month, but usually tbh, 2 coats of wash and wax does the job! Just keeps the ancient paintwork in good condition! But I do always use Glass Polish and Back To Black stuff on tyres and bumpers.

What a lame reason Jake

Thought you were gonna come out with some technical babble about how its better for paint to only do it once every 6months

An £11 bottle of autoglym deep shine/gloss whatever its called polish for dark cars has lasted me about 5/6 polishes now.

polishing then waxing lasts about 6months anyway so to do it any more is unecessary.

some same only polish a couple/few times a year and then wax the rest as polish is abrasive compared to wax!

but to do it for cost reasons thats just daft sorry!

by the time you finish that bottle it will have gone hard!
