How much are you looking at realistically to lower a Corsa -40mm, is it worth getting shocks aswell?

no, they concentrate more on the handling than looks, although their tarmac rally springs are about 50mm lower and look in my opinion:

I was always led to believe that Eibach make the best springs. Safe to use with the standard shocks too

Depends on how much you are lowering by, I would say Eibach on standard springs up to -30mm, after you would need to look into uprating the shocks.

yes any lower than 30mm you need uprated shocks to match. Never heard anyone say a bad word about Eibach. Heard lots of bad things about FK

Gates Tyres in Carlisle got me my wheels and suspension and it fitted it all for me. Think you can get Cobra stuff from Tweeks too

How does it handle on -30mm springs & is it just springs alone you have?

Just curious to find out as my mate is looking to lower his 1999 VW Polo

It handles quite well. I have matching shocks. It is back breakingly stiff though think that must be the way Cobra suspension is cos other Corsas I have been in aren't as stiff and roll more in corners.

Matty - Thanks

Rcb - Anyways back to topic...

Yes I would advise you to get uprated shocks aswell..

Here's my corsa lowered on Full Spax RSX -40mm Suspension Kit with matching uprated shocks..

Handles well and has never let me down

If you are putting 15s on it would be better to lower it 60mm imo

Thankyou for your comment.

Spax RSX Kit cost me £200, but that was because I got it brand new from Halfords, someone ordered the kit and never collected it...

Make sure you don't just put the wheels on and leave it looking like a 4x4, get the suspension kit on first then wheels
