ok jobs i been doing this week............

had this back in bad way











then sorted the cracks with with mostly fibreglass and little filler as pos...... put fibrglass in then cover with masking tape i find works well to get right shape then peel off after!!!



then painted and blown in which for first attemp and blowing in, never mind doing it on a high pearl matalic colour like ford imperail blue its come out really well, just gotta rub down and polish up now!!!





AND the other job, got these off a geuine DIMMA pug 306, in bit of a mess!!!





all kerbing gone........lot of work!!!



then painted in vaux glacier white cos had some left from astra!!!! then had tester of some blue pearl powder so lad saif to try it, so i did when i tried it i decided on spot that it wud look cool to pearl the spokes more!!! then re laquered them and here they, just done them and sent pic to lad and not sure he likes ............YET!!! could be getting painted white again!! hehe

i love them..........mum is well impressed also

what do you use to fill the kerbing scuffs etc? just normal body filler?

i just make the time, go to bed very late! its pretty hard with my shifts to find time cos do splits and work evenings!!

may change his mind?

also how do you fix kerbing, i wanted to have a go at it, but someone said not to use filler unless the tyres are on already, otherwise the machine pulls it out?

dunno if thats true?

the way i do it is rub down all the flaking paint etc then, a little filler its only a tiny amount then get rid of imperfections with few coats of filler primer!!!

he is warming to the wheels, coming to take a look after work, i said have them back get tires on then in few weeks if he still dont like then will do them white just mask the tires up!!!

think the effect will get the car more attention just not sure he wanted the wheels so ott, ment to be white with little blue pearl i think harly noticalbe

cos i am buying into the pub i work at and staying commited to doing that cos going in partnership with my brother and he is very good at wot is does at the pub so i am backing him up!!

also i could get bored wot doing this if i did it day in day out maybe its fun when its just a hobbie!!!

i use chemical metal to fill any imperfections in the wheels than if needs be a very very light skim of filler the spray as normal
