been thinking and talking to me mates about what to do nxt to the car ?

ive just got a new job so im now not in the position to use my car every day (at the min i do approx 500 mils a week and this works out at approx 300 quid a month )

and im going to get the body work sorted as some twat keyed it then broke into it ive also crashed it and damaged it and bits of rust etc now on the car soooooo............... going to get everything sorted with a full re spray

Ive put SXI intertior in it now and ive had my wheels re conned the smae colour

but after re spray was thinking getting a valver put in ??

what you think it will cost to get engine and have it fitted ?

ive already got 2 litre brakes exhaust suspension etc so was just wondering how much to get a valver supplied and fitted ?

thanks
JACKO

Alright jacko, ive seen your car at one of the north east meets.

All i can say is

Get a 1.6 16V, the increase in performance will be good and then if you start getting bored, throttle bodie it, you know it makes sense

you still got that jock off air filter on it???

Hmm, I know someone will probably come out with "well if its done properly it will be fine", but it sounds like you need a pretty reliable car. I dont hear of many 1.6 16V engines causing problems whereas there is quite a few on the 2.0 side.

I would say a 1.6 tuned engine is better than a valver to be honest as the 1.6 engine belongs to the car?
