a 1.2 16v wouldn't cost much more and while still slower than a snail a lot better than a 12 volt.

The 1.2 8 valve is quicker acceleration wise than a 12 volt, and c12nz's are bullet proof, so why not get one

Mine was on its arse at 60k.
I bodged most of it back together and sold it.
cant see it passing 65k tho
If I could go back, I would have the 1200 16v, leaps and bounds ahead of the 8v and 12v IMO

I've never driven anything so pathetically slow in my life. and with miles it'll be even slower.

hmm, the 1.0 12v is based on the same technology of the 1.2 16v anyway so the life span is probably the same.
I think the 1.0 12v is a good reliable car, i never had any problems with it from day 1 till 25k miles(when i sold it ) and im sure it will last that way for even longer.

Meaning the 1.2 8 valve is a better car for most

this really really winds me up
ALL corsa's are 12 VOLT
the 1 litre corsa has 12 VALVES, hence the V
the word is valve, its a 1 litre 12 VALVE FFS
how hard can it fucking be?

I have always called them 12v volt even though I know it means 12 valve. Its just funny cos as rcb says the engine may aswell be a 12 volt battery
