wouldn't have been so bad... but i asked for a pint of boddingtons and a dry white wine... his response was " ID? " so i said what / he then remarked sarcastically "ID?" .... wanted to smack the cnut, lanky afro-clad streak of piss
so we walked round the corner to TGI's instead

Ally, you're right. I understand when its outside a club and there are lots of police around and they ID every single person, but they need to use common sense, they are only ID'ing because they have the power to ID people, like SRi Co said, he was younger and ID'd for the sake of it. Now i might look young, but ID'ing me for a scratch card is rediculous, as is ID'ing SRi Co for anything as i was shocked he was only 24

Its just a pain when u have to carry it around and you are obviously over 18. Like Gianlugi said they only do it because they have the power to.

FFS i work on a bar and HATE people who kick off about being Id'd! not only can you lose your job, and the pub its licence, but the fine has now gone up to £20k!!!! this is paid by the person failing to ID and not the company. is it so hard to carry round a driving licence, its the same size as a credit card. stop being so pathetic and whinging about someone doing their job.
