got these today. fitted the harnesses today. will get picks up later as its raining. dont think am going to use the strut as it looks cheap and doesnt fit proper. cost me a tenner of ebay think that says it all.

the strut doesnt fit into the standards holes that are used for a proper strut brace. you will have to drill them yourself

debatable, the type that fixes the top of the struts together keeps the struts parallel... i wouldn't think the rear turrets would flex enough to warrant a fook off big bar between them, especially seeing as the rear shock top mounts allow movement anyway

the strut is so that the chassis and body doesnt have so much flex when cornering.
i got it to fit after i got angry with a hammer. got it in a decided it looked shit.
the bar is thin as fuck aswell.

think about it, a front one doesnt connect to the shocker does it? connects to the bodywork ie the strut top. one in between the rear turrets will stop it flexing, not one connected to the shockers as there is play in the rubbers etc

and the front brace uses the top mount of the struts to attach

no it doesnt, it used the turret, not the top nut of the shock, like the rear would

so those two threads that come out of the turret are part of what... certainly not the turret itself

went in fairly easy, its wedged in tho as my false floor is quite high so used a hammer.
Was owned by broster so dont know where it orginally came from.

Suttons came from PVD, its a wiechers sport one
Sri-Co, think logically, does a roll cage connect to the rear suspension top mount, or does it stop chassis flex by bracing the metal of the shell?

yes, because Sparco/FK/omp (the most common ones) wanted to sell lots, so they didnt want people to go "oh, ive got to drill my car, i think i'll leave it" whereas weichers sport, who are german, just dont give a toss
any chassis engineer will tell you that bracing the turret is more effective then bracing the rubber bush
