Well with the car being 12 years old, showing its age a tad, plus a leaky radiator, thought it best to get the old girl in from some TLC.

Still waiting on a new grille (should arrive next week)
Smoked lights are temparary
Wheels are being swapped for stock GSi wheels.

The plan is to get the car totally back to standard to show.
As of september it will be purely become a toy

The other half is really happy with it

The following was painted

Brand new geniune GM GSi front bumper
Bonnet
Wings
Sideskirts and arches (All smoothed)
Brand new GM back bumper
All blended over.

A massive thanks to Steve (mate of mine) from Harpenden Bodyshop who have done a great job (there work is featured regulary on the VW area )

Anyway the pics.......

Enjoy........

We have new badges as well but havent put them on yet........ but the required arty shot........

Because you dont see nice standard ones anymore.
Plus we have salt in the air - per say as the great british weather its not going to be used as the other half goes back to uni so may as well put it somewhere good.

That answer your question?

Thats the plan.

Fancy new rooflining that kinda thing as well. Totally standard examples are really nice, long process but should be ok.

Mine will be the toy that gets ripped to pieces
