Had my vectra V6 on = never met price
Sold my corsa XE to someone who seen it on ebay and asked how much to finish austion early..
It is a good place for advertising, most ppl who are interested will contact you and ask how much to finish auction early...

It will help to get noticed & get some interest so worth the £6 listing fee but be prepared to get fooked about & dont hold your breath for it to sell on the site!!

Ebay take about 5% of the final auction. I sold a C20LET on there and it cost me about £75 in the end. Not worth it IMO, autotrader all the way, seems to get the most interest aswell.

I put my Corsa on Autotrader priced at £3700 and I didn't get a single phone.
I then tried a 99p no reserve auction on eBay. There was loads of interest asking how much to end the auction early, there were also quite alot of jokers asking if I would accept £500
It went for £3400 in the end but outside of eBay. however, thats where the boy who bought it saw it advertised

final listing fee is a certain percentage of the final price the ebay take as comission.
I have put a few cars and vans etc on ebay and sold them with final fees of 14 - 50 quid. It is a bit of a bite in the ass but you do tend to get a lot more on ebay than autotrader; if it looks decent so give it a clean!!!
Other fees are listing fees which have cost £10.15 everytime i have done it (that inc bold + pics etc)
Otherwise ebay is awesome, i sold our vehicles for much more than book / autotrader price and were paid/collected within 3 days!!
Always go for bankers draft or cash as payment tho, as paypal has some fees that can get u!! Otherwise get them to put a deposit down of about 5 - 10% within 48hrs of them winning it just incase they decide that they want to fuckoff!!!
Finally quick story for ya: Sold my dads porsche 911 for 4 grand more than a dealer would give us and was sold within 24 hrs on ebay!! People make you offers as it is like advertrising aswell!!!
