Nicky Forster is a quality striker though Luigi, if he had stayed fit he would have scored nearly 20 this season.

Yes, but he only played like 5 or 6 games, and during his absence we were so impotant upfront,, he finished top scorer on his returne. I was happy when we signed him.
But Royles management this season was awful.

2 years ok we was bottome of league 2
Now in the championship. Football IS a funny old game
ps - remember the time Southend won 1-0 at Portman Road with Gary Jones scoring, that was a good day

Yes he done well with no money if you consider not being relegated and finishing below our local rivals doing well.
I siad this when he was appointed - Yes he may of had a FA cup success in his time and got a team or two promoted - but how many times has he been relegated?! He was too much of a risk and this has shown through.
We made a few mistakes in recent years -
Getting to succesful too quickly.
Giving Burley too much money to spend all at once.
Getting rid of Burley.
