There are currently 2949548 in the posts table.

At a rate of 22,000 posts per week, that will be 3 million in two weeks time, which is significant achievement given thats in excess of 1Gb of textual data, and we query it 241,000 times per hour.

Search your hard disc for stuff see if its that fast and if it is, you've done well as well.

Alternatively, ignore all that geek crap and make a short post like mine.
