Thought i would put up a few pics of my latest little project!
Although it aint a nova im sure it will amuse most! Going to be my work van with a twist!









Strengthening kit is now fitted as you can see above, next i got to remove the rh engine mount from the chassis leg and fit the new mount for the valver that im gonna drop in!

Cheers, i did all the welding above, welding and fabrication is one of my main lines of work!
Hopefully get the engine mounts sorted and painted under the bonnet by the end of the weekend if all goes to plan!

Also for the project i have just acquired some calibra turbo leather seats, plus discs and calipers!
Rear leaf springs are also going away to get decambered so i can lower the rear!
Anybody got a gsi front bumper or front lowering springs for sale???

Im going to paint it the same colour as my rally car, got some 15" alloys for it already too. Just ordered the arp rod bolts for it today too! lol

I am VERY impressed.
I've only ever seen two other men weld like that.
One was a competion car prep man, who specialised in cages. The other is the chap who i've been going to for 14 years, who does nothing but welding and has been doing it for over 20 years.

Im having the rear springs modded by rossendale road springs, they are going to put an extra leaf in to stiffen them up and recamber the original, have asked the it sit 50mm lower at rear but stiffer when done
They are callin me back this morning to will let you know how much they quote me!
