Wondering who can reccomend what phones, on the look out for a new mobile and like the new sony eric 810 & also really like the samsung d800 but it seems to have poor reviews ??

no, but ive got the 800i and its top draw... had a D600 didnt like it... D500 was better IMO.... W800i does everything i could really want a phone to!

k750i is much better than the d500, just had both, i'd get another sony ericsson now given the choice

D500 suffers from a stupid problem where when you slide down the phone, the screen goes up

I like the look of my D500 & it was cheap, ive not got time to fanny about with mobiles so does calls & occasional text which is fine for me!!

Not to sure mate, ive got the 800, theres just a light on that, no flash... can not just activate the light when video'ing?

Pablo, i had some bugs with my sony, blokey said to do a master reset, but just call data
sorted everything, even dodgy joystick

The camera on the SE range is awesome... printer some pictures straight off the memory card onto high quality paper, and they are as good as a real camera!!

Jim, ive been awaiting your entrance for a long time now but no luck 
3rdly, Sooty speaks the truth. W810, or w800.
D600 isnt bad, neither is 6230i
Paul the w810 doesnt have a flash its a guide light, the flash is availible it costs £20 and is a proper xenon unit (i.e what u get on real camera's)
W810 has all the things u need a phone to do, its small, compact easy to use reliable and looks nice.
Consider all else at your peril
