advantage of the v6 over the 2 litre is the noise, and the smoothness
disadvantages - no idea (no comment)

v6 isnt much heavier tbh
andy, your car would be better with a v6 than an xe, v6 would be perfect for it

Why you reckon Rob?
To make it more unique?
Or cos mine wont be the lightest of corsa's and i dont wanna have to rely on my car being light to be fast?
Or none of the above? haha

I dunno really, i just think it would look more complete with a V6 under the bonnet
your car is smooth, so is the V6 engine

It's general knowledge really, a 2500cc V6 engine is guna be heavier than a 2000cc straight 4 engine.

I think a V6 would be better, alot more unique anyway. Cant see the speed being much different but I should imagine the smoothness and noise would make up for speed if it is any slower.

The 1.4 and 1.6 are very very similar engines though, the 1.6 is a bored out 1.4 isn't it?
The XE and the V6 aren't similar

the bigger capacity engine wins the lightness award
V6 is NOT substantially heavier than an XE
