was out in my calibra this aft when after a short spell with a scooby it decied to run on 3 cylinders. Got it home and after letting it cool down i decided to strip it to see the problem removed plugs and found no4 plug melted so checked compression and no4 was zero removed head and found a melted piston
How happy am i!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, melting bits on engines isn't really advisable, especially if the engine is running at the time
