Dont put your dog in a box ffs.
If your training it then surely train it not to attack other dogs? Or get him castrated. Then insteadof biting hell just bark and piss everyone off

for starters he is castrated, another he doesnt bark, he will not be left in a cage, he will need to travel in the cage and he will then be placed in a kennel once i am at college

why does he need to travel in a cage tho? A car is a safe environment where there would be no other dogs?
I wouldnt want to use my own dog as an experiment/guinea pig

Your dog is unhappy, get him a bitch & laid regularly & he will behave!!!
ps. I think its cruel taking him to college in a box then left in a kennel until you want to bother him with jiggery pockery college antics!!

because a dog wondering around i a car is dangerous, and dont think its even allowed anymore.
He is coming to college, because i prefer to have a friendly dog then a dog that has to be muzzle at times to prevent him biting another dog.

When it bites another dog can't you just slap it in the face and tell it no?

how do you know this?
I find it quite comical how you blame him attacking other dogs on the fact he was bit at a young age, i would say its because he hasn't been trained correctly following the attack.

I'm not an expert myself, but surely if you knew what did and what didn't work you wouldn't be going on the course Claire?

Your dog probably doesn't behave as its never been hit or taught a lesson that it shouldn't bite, so in a way is taking advantage.

I dont think sxi tim meant punch its lights out.
A simple smack that is lightbut stern wil teach the dog alot.
Ive had 3 dogs from puppy to full grown and all have been taught this way and it isnt cruel or wrong and they learn from it and none of mine have ever bitten other people or dogs.
They are well mannered and obidient.
A dog in the back would be harmed in an accident maybe but it would be the same in a fabric cage So dont see how its "dangerous" at all.
