I bought a grille some time back, then without any apparent reasons, grille was damaged (strengthening bars across between 2nd/3rd row broken)
Mailed them, was advised to phone.
Called and spoke to a salesman who advised me to send back item for inspection under a warranty claim and they would send it back as soon as possible after inspection is over (whether a replacement under warranty is accepted or the damaged one).
Got a letter 1 week later, warranty claim refused.
Since I have been waiting for grille to be returned back...still nothing..mailed and phoned today to get this:
'I should arrange for collection how dishonest...It's not about £10 or whatever, but if they told me this beforehand, I would have never sent the item'
Anybody work there?

well, I can arrange for a collection, but what I don't like is the way they did...asking to send back and bla bla bla....
And even more stupid: they are trying to waive up liability or responsibility for the product while it is on their premises...
They won't reply to mails, or accept my phone call....
what next...?

they are not willing to accept this...
I think I'll have to contact the Department of Trade and Standards.
What is it with LMF, they made thing long enough so that the time to make a claim via paypal has elapsed...very dishonest
I think I will try to do a charge back on my credit card

nah, for £28?
even worse, when I received it, 2 or 3 of the right angled clips that goes on the bumper was broken/damaged, i didnt care but installed it...
I'm not even bothered abt the £35...I just want them to keep to their words...

Best ever company I have dealt with in the motor factors trade without a doubt. Im sure it can be sorted with cooperation on both parties accounts, although LMF will never cause a fuss needlessly.

Well, I heard the same of them, I traded with them but the results aren't as expected.
I would never have contacted them if the fault was on my part.
While they don't want to send a replacement, at least send my goods.. they want to keep it...dunno why

Yes I spoke to numerous people there and email sent..Finally the MD, SP Crook mail back to try and get away.
I wished I could put the mail here.
and the other mails too....
I called after 5 mins the mail was received and he was not kind at all, rather rude and very unfriendly. And to top it all, just cut the phone line...I couldn't even say Hi or Bye
Now this is really good customer services esp from the MD himself...
Get there and explain to them
