I start a new season with my wednesday 6-a-side team (Farcelona) later on, I also play 6-a-side on Tuesdays. So I thought I'd make a thread where if any of you play in your local leagues, share your teams scores and adventures in here, post up league tables and results and stuff.

I've nothing to post yet, hopefully it shall be a winning result.

Hello, I play 6 a side on a sunday night at a local school astro turf.

Our team is called dreamers and we wear

none of us play any other football so we started for a mess around really.

Ended up winning the 1st division in our 1st season and have just started life in the premiership.

Nice imagination mate

I've had a few daft names at it, I run the tuesday side, and my brother runs the wednesday team, he likes the 06/07 orange Barcelona kit but it isn't out till 5th July so we're going to wear the lime green one till the shirts arrive, all ordered with our names and numbers on etc...

Tuesday's were were the new Brazil shirts as it's a family team, everyone in it is related ( I have 14 cousins but only 6 play, plus me and my brother).
Nobody pays sub's though I pay for the whole seasons, enjoyment is what it's all about.

I play in a Monday Night 8-a-side League at our Local Soccer City.

This is out 5th season, won the league twice in a row in our first 2 seasons, lost our way a bit due to injuries and people dropping out for the next couple of seasons but were back in fine form and currently 5 points clear at the top again

We wear a Sunderland shirt cos it was the cheapest shirt in Sports Soccer at the time

I used to play 5-a-side indoors on Sundays for the old company I worked for.

Came runners up in our first season, I was our leagues top scorer by 8 goals, then we came 2nd again in the higher division where I was top scorer again.

Then they moved the leagues outside to the 7-a-side astro last season. we lost our first 3 games then went on an 11 game winning streak to win the league.

Didnt play in a league this year though I do still play on astro 7-a-side every thursday with a group of blokes from my Sunday League team.

That's true, I'd play 7 days a week if there were enough leagues wset up for it.

I wouldn't even mind if we weren't playing in leagues and it was just a kickabout over the field

Can't wait for football tonight

I used to play in the Monday league at Rotherham TRC but after playing Sat/Sun, I was always a bit tired.
Was a good standard of refereeing in it aswell, most 6/7aside leagues have ex binmen for refs.
